Holly is an enthusiastic, child-centred and passionate Early Years and KS1 Primary Teacher (QTS) with over 10 years of experience in childcare and education. Prior to joining Little Angels, she worked at a local outstanding primary school in Notting Hill as their Reception and Year 1 teacher, as well as the Phonics Lead for the entire school. Holly is our Preschool teacher and works in a supernumerary capacity (over and above ratio); she works Monday to Thursday with our preschool children in small groups and one-to-one, leading learning across lots of brilliantly designed projects. She has a BA (Hons) in English Language and a PGCE in Primary Education. She leads our daily phonics sessions (she is an expert in the ELS phonics scheme – Essential Letters and Sounds), holds whole class circle time discussions and skilfully guides the team in sensitively preparing children for their transition to school.
